High school cheerleader Brandi Levy recently made a Snapchat post from a local convenience store in the USA, on a weekend. The US Supreme Court has ruled that she could not be eliminated from her cheerleading squad as punishment for the profanity included in the post. The ruling did, however, recognise that the 'school's regulatory interests remain significant in some off-campus circumstances'.The decision affects the free speech rights of approximately 50 million public school students in the USA.
