UK government sets dates for November's global AI Summit

The UK government has released dates for the upcoming global AI Safety Summit, slated to be held at the historic Bletchley Park. The event, scheduled for November 1st and 2nd, will emphasise discussions on mitigating AI risks through coordinated international action, particularly at the cutting edge of AI development.

Foreign Secretary James Cleverlyhighlighted the imperative of a unified international approach to address the multifaceted challenges posed by AI.The Foreign Secretarypointed out that Bletchley Park symbolises global efforts to ensure the responsible utilisation of AI technology, emphasising the need for collective action in tackling AI-related issues.
