A spokesperson from Instagram and Facebook has stated that the platforms are removing posts which support the Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani, in compliance with the US sanctions. The Irainian government has protested against Instagram and has promoted the creation of an online portal including the posts that the company decided to remove.
