YouTubeupdated its 'strike system' for content creators that violate the community guidelines. Compared to the previous system, the new one entails three steps. At first, when the content is flagged, the creator of the channels receives an official warning with an explanation of which guideline has been violated. This results in a temporary ban from some of the YouTube channels' features (e.g. Live streaming even from different accounts). If a second strike is issued in a period of three months due to an additional violation of the communities guidelines, the concerned account is suspended for two weeks. At this stage, if no further strikes are issued, the account returns to be fully operative after two weeks otherwise, if a third strike is issued, the account is permanently terminated. The new system will enter into effect on 25 February.
