World Healt Organisation make recommendations on time screen watching for children

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has issued itsfirst-ever screen time guidelines, advising children below five years to not spend more than one hour a day before the screen.

The guidelines also mentions that children younger than 18 months should avoid screens other than video chats and that children below two years should only be allowed to watch "high-quality programming" with educational value in the presence of their parents, to help kids understand what they're seeing.

However, some groups have raised their concern of WHO's screen time guidelines. Andrew Przybylski, director of research at the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, points that this advice "overly focuses on quantity of screen time and fails to consider the content and context of use,"
