The Digital Roadmap: how developing countries can get ahead

Hosted and managed by Oxford University's Blavatnik School of Government, the Pathways Commission launched a Digital Roadmap that lays out pragmatic recommendations for developing countries that want to seize the opportunities available in the digital age for positive economic and social change, that benefit everyone. The Digital Roadmap highlights five points to ensure that digital revolution leads to inclusive growth for everyone: a) craft digital compact for inclusive development, b) put people at the center of the digital future, c) build the digital essentials, d) reach everyone with digital technologies, e) govern technology for future. The report further identifies the role of different stakeholders and provide pertinent recommendations for governments, private sector, donors and philanthropists, as well as civil society and multilateral organisations.
