Samsung has announced its 2025 lineup for Frame TVs , and leading the pack is the new Frame Pro.

Samsung's Frame TV series is unique in the world of television sets. It is a 4K QLED screen that shows off a rotating collection of paintings "with highly realistic color value" when turned "off." The series has proven to be quite popular, as other companies have made similar displays, such as the Hisense S7 Canvas TV we recently reviewed.

Neo QLED display

The Frame Pro introduces several changes, mainly its Neo QLED display. Samsung claims the technology will "boost brightness and [improve] contrast." According to the brand, it will be available in three different sizes -- 65, 75, and 85 inches in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). Additionally, it will have a refresh rate of 144Hz to ensure smooth video playback.

This upgrade in the display panel is arguably the biggest improvement for the Frame TV series ever, with the model previously facing backlash regarding its less sharp and vibrant image quality. Switching to a Mini LED array meaningfully improves the way subjects are portrayed when you'renotin Art Mode, as 's Kerry Wan has attested to after seeing the set in person at CES earlier this year.

AI features

"Like all models in the 2025 Samsung TV lineup," the Frame Pro is supported by the brand's Vision AI platform, which enables a whole suite of features. Some features may seem familiar to Galaxy smartphone owners. Live Translate provides "real-time subtitle [translations] of live broadcasts." Click to Search is similar to Circle to Search in that it can instantly identify on-screen objects and provide real-time information.

There are also some interesting AI capabilities. Samsung Food can actually recognize food shown on the TV and then provide a recipe for the meal, or where you can order it. The Generative Wallpaper tool, as the name suggests, lets owners create custom images to display via generative AI.

Other changes

Additional notable features of The Frame Pro include a UL-certified matte screen to minimize glare, access to the Samsung Art Store to purchase over 3,000 art pieces, and Home Insight to receive safety notifications on your phone.

Packaged with the TV is a Wireless One Connect Box, which allows you to pair other entertainment devices, such as video game consoles and STBs (set-top-boxes). We've seen this switch-up to wireless connectivity with some of Samsung's other 2025 TV models, including its recently launched 8K models, and the change should greatly improve the ease of setting up the Frame Pro, especially if you're often plugging things in and out.

Pricing and preorder availability

Preorders are currently live forThe Frame Pro . Prices start at$2,199 for the 65-inch TV and go as high as$4,299 for the big 85-inch model. The 75-inch option sits in between at$3,199. 

If the price is out of your budget, the new generation of standard Frame TVs is also up for preorder now, with prices ranging from$899 for the 43-inch size to$1,799 for the 65-inch.
