Microsoft launches fund for affordable access solutions

Microsoft has launched a new fund to invest in companies that work towards affordable Internet access. According to Executive Vice President Peggy Johnson, 'the ability to close the gap is more achievable than ever with technology that is readily available and affordable in many parts of the world'. The fund is part of Microsoft's Affordable Access Initiative.
