Indonesian government starts investigating Google tax case

The government of Indonesia has started an investigation into Google's tax practices, as it accuses the company of owing the state more than 25 million US Dollars in taxes. Previous discussions between the company and the Finance Ministry failed to address the issue. Indonesia's Director General of Taxation indicated that his office will involve police and prosecutors during the investigation.
