Hacker(s) returned about$258 million out of US$600 million in cryptocurrency stolen from Poly Network, a decentralised finances (DeFi) platform, on 10 August.
The hacker(s) sent a message to Poly Network embedded in a cryptocurrency transaction, noting they are 'not so interested in money' and 'now considering returning some tokens.' The DeFi platform responded, requesting the money is sent to three crypto addresses.
The hacker(s) also underlined that they 'never asked for bounty from Poly Network' and that they are 'hacking for good'.
