Gulf states collaborate to remove interference in mobile phone networks

Negotiations are currently taking place between Iran and six neighbouring countries in order to address the issue of interference in mobile phone networks. The International Specialized Organizations of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has announced that an expert-level meeting will be held among the states bordering the Persian Gulf, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. The main focus of the meeting is on addressing interferences in the 4G and 5G mobile phone networks.

The purpose of this meeting, which was suggested by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and took place in Geneva, Switzerland, is to discuss the elimination of interferences in mobile telephone networks and to enhance the quality of services.
