The French government has presented a national strategy to bring together environmental and digital issues. The objective of the strategy is to develop knowledge on the digital environmental footprint and use digital technology to ensure a greener future. The strategy is based on a report drafted by the Citizen's Climate Convention in 2020, and proposes the creation of an environmental barometer for digital actors, as well as an awareness-raising campaign on eco-friendly digital practices.
