According to the Wall Street Journal, eleven national data protection authorities have objected the ruling proposed by the Irish DPA, in the case of Twitter's 2019 data breach. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Twitter could face a fine of up to 2% of its global revenue last year, for failing to disclose the breach within 72 hours.
