Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) and IBM have announced their collaboration on the promotion of digital literacy and competences among Middle East and Africa's youth. As part of the project, DOT will work together with local organizations in order to improve access to youth across the region to IBM's learning platform Open P-Tech. The tool aims to build capacity on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing, but also general workplace skills including teamwork and presentations.
