CNIL, the French data protection authority, has opened a consultation on its draft recommendation on cookies and trackers. As part of its action plan on ad-tracking, the authority is asking stakeholders to contribute on the practical modalities operators using cookies and trackers need to follow in obtaining users' consent. The consultation is open until February 25, 2020.
