The US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has released its OPM Data Strategy for Fiscal Years 2023-2026. It aims to fully leverage OPM and agency human capital data and provide seamless access to OPM data products and services for federal agencies, federal employees, and public users. The strategy is aligned with the Federal Data Strategy Action Plans, the Workforce Priority of the President's Management Agenda, and OPM's Strategic Plan, as well as organizational assessments and customer feedback. To support the strategy, OPM has updated its data portal, www.opm.gov/data, and added a set of initial data dashboards, including the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) Dashboard, the Cyber Workforce Dashboard, and the Hiring Manager Satisfaction Dashboard.

Overall, the OPM Data Strategy aims to position OPM as a premier provider of human capital data services by building innovative service delivery models, analytics, and digital solutions. OPM Director Kiran Ahuja stated that the OPM Data Strategy could foster a stronger government-wide data-driven culture, deliver high-quality human capital data products, leverage technology to improve data collection and integration and strengthen data governance and management.
