Thai Internet operators urge citizens to report royal insults

After the passing of Thai king Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thailand's telecoms operators have urged customers 'to report inappropriate content about the royal institution', following a request from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. Insulting the monarchy is illegal in the country, and can lead to severe punishments. The operators have posted instructions on how to report 'inappropriate' Facebook and Youtube content.
