During the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, The Roscongress Foundation and the UN Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries (UN Technology Bank) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation between the relevant organisations and business communities in the Russian Federation and the world's 46 least developed countries (LDCs). The MoU, which provides a framework for the cooperation to enhance existing and to develop new and long-term partnerships, further entails the establishment of common communication platforms at the international level and the collaboration on areas related to investment and finance, export-import activities, and tourism and culture. 'The inclusion of the UN Technology Bank's agenda in The Roscongress Foundation's work will create relevant opportunities for multi-stakeholder dialogue, collaborations, and partnerships in the science, technology, and innovation (STI) area,' noted UN Technology Bank Managing Director Joshua Phoho Setipa.
