According to RTE, a European privacy organization (NOYB) has launched a High Court legal action over what it claims is the Data Protection Commissioner's failure to progress complaints made about the unlawful processing of personal data by Facebook owned platforms in 2018. The complaint claims that the data protection authority has breached its GDPR obligations by failing to progress or complete investigations into complaints made over Instagram and WhatsApp.
