After the Masala High Court's ban on TikTok on 17 April, the appappealed to the decision and filed a counter-affidavit laying out the existing mechanisms preventing that pornographic content is uploaded on the app. The High Court has decided to lift the ban and TikTok has introduced an age gate requirement at 13 years old to use the app as well as announced the strengthening of the existing content moderation rules.
