First commercial nationwide IoT network available in the U.S.

Verizon launched the first commercial nationwide IoT network in the U.S. The 4G LTE Category M1 (Cat M1) network will span 2.4 million square miles. The network will be suitable for sensors and devices like water meters, asset trackers and consumer electronics that report their status and readings on a regular basis.
