European Union envoy defends women's rights

Envoys defend women's rights, gender equality explains that European Union envoy Johnny Engell-Hansen supported the EU policy to 'defend women's rights, promote gender equality and continue to support the elimination of all forms of violence against women', at the opening of 16 Days of Activism's 'Nothing Less than Equal' film festival at the Damodar Cinemas in Suva, Fiji. According to Engell-Hansen, the film 'aimed to promote the elimination of gender-violence through movies relating to gender violence'.
