According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the Danish data protection authority (DPA) has released its work plan for the year 2021. The DPA will oversee data processing by credit information agencies and supervise debt collection agencies in their duty to adhere to data subjects' access and deletion rights. The DPA will also monitor television surveillance, the disclosure of social security numbers by public authorities and transferring personal data to third countries in the upcoming year.
