According to the Verge, privacy regulators in Canada have assessed that Facebook broke national privacy laws, in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal. The Canadian data protection authority announced it would challenge the company to courts, for not having obtained meaningful consent from users to share their data with third-parties.
