Airbnb announced plans to be stricter on controlling short-terms rentals in several French cities, including Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux. All users without formal registration numbers, required by public authorities, will be soon removed from the platform. The move comes after an appeal from France's housing ministry for platforms to work more closely to local authorities.
