The Ministry of Health in Israel created a special app titled "CoronApp" to help people deal with the Coronavirus. The app enables people to receive information about the virus, to chat with experts, and to report whether they require a quarantine. However, due to some security vulnerabilities of the app, it was revealed that anyone can have access to the details of the app users, including their private sensitive health information. Furthermore, the existing vulnerabilities can enable unauthorized users to take control over users' identities. Hackers and security experts discovered these vulnerabilities and informed the Ministry of Health and Israel National Cyber Directorate. Following these discoveries, the Ministry removed the app and fixed the problems. According to the official response of the Ministry, there is no indication that these vulnerabilities were exploited by any unauthorized entities.
