Samsung has revealed that in late July 2022, an unauthorised party stole information from some of Samsung's US systems. Samsung claims that customers' information including their names, contact and demographic information, date of birth, and product registration information may have been affected by the incident. The company stated that it is coordinating with a leading cybersecurity team and law enforcement authorities to track the incident and conduct investigations.
