After a new leak of internal Facebook communications,Computer Weekly reports how Facebook has targeted politicians in many countries around the world to influence new national and international legislations in the making. Documents display how Facebook engaged directly with the prime minister of Ireland, while in charge of the presidency of the EU, to promote Facebook's interests. According to the Guardian, 'the documents appear to emanate from a court case against Facebook by the app developer Six4Three in California, and reveal that Sandberg considered European data protection legislation a "critical" threat to the company'.
