In response to the UN Secretary General's Roadmap for Digital Cooperation and its call to connect, respect, and protect people in the digital age; the UN launched a call for young people to contribute to shaping global digital co-operation by sharing their reality with regards to relying on digital technology, their hopes for world leaders, and their demand for global digital co-operation to ensure no one is left behind, including young people. The call, which is open between 10-31 August 2020, invites young people to share a 90 second video under one of the three themes: (a)Connect, addressing the urgency to achieve universal connectivity, (b)Respect, upholding human rights in the digital age, (c)Protect, combat cyber-attacks and online harms, including child online risks. A selected number of videos and answers will be reviewed and featured during the UN High-Level Week in September 2020, including at key high-level events.
