The Quantum Internet Alliance has launched a seven-year programme aiming to build a quantum internet ecosystem. The first phase of the programme, to run for 3,5 years, has a total budget of 24 million euros.
The progamme aims to create an environment for innovative engineering solutions. Quantum internet is a network technology that could benefit different sectors, including the security or telecommunications sector. This initiative is part of a broader European vision to advance quantum technologies accessible to all, and developed in collaboration.
