According to a publication, Egypt's Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) signed an agreement of US$135 million with Orange Egypt to build and operate its data centre and cloud computing platform in the New Administrative Capital (NAC). According to the agreement, Orange Egypt will build the main infrastructure of the data centre that will enable the capital city to use smart and sustainable technologies for various services including Internet of things (IoT) solutions, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (AI) platforms.
