Freedom of information, access to the Internet, and gender equality were among the main topics discussed at the second Human Rights Dialogue in Brussels, under the EU-Cuba Agreement on Political Dialogue and Cooperation (PDCA).
The aim of the dialogue was to strengthen bilateral engagement in areas where there was potential for making progress, and the EU and Cuba agreed to further their co-operation through technical assistance and exchange of best practices.
