Problem Description
BAS - (G1/0/3) - MA5680T (0/19/0) - ONU - dial-up user
BAS version ME60 V600R002C02SPC200, the management IPs of OLT (MA5680T) and ONU act as static users of the BAS and are in the same private network segment, VLAN2 for OLT and VLAN3 for ONU, the BAS can directly ping through the OLT and the ONU, but the OLT and all ONUs under it can't ping each other.
Alarm Information
None
Process
Processing:
1. ME60, OLTs and ONUs can ping each other successfully, indicating that the link from ONUs to BAS is smooth.
2. Check the configuration of MA5680T, and it transmits the service vlan and management vlan without configuring acl, so there is no problem with the configuration.
3. MA5680T View ONU mac table entries are normal; view on the BAS, static users have also been online.
4. View the BAS interface configuration as follows:
<PY-HHL-A-B4>dis cu int g 1/0/3.2
#
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3.2
pppoe-server bind Virtual-Template 1
user-vlan 2
user-vlan 26 qinq 101 103
user-vlan 26 27 qinq 104
bas
#
access-type layer2-subscriber default-domain authentication guanli
authentication-method bind
ip-trigger
arp-trigger
#
return
Find that no ARP proxy is configured, configure arp-proxy under the BAS interface, and verify that the OLT can ping with the ONU. The complete configuration is as follows:
<PY-HHL-A-B4>dis cu int g 1/0/3.2
#
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3.2
pppoe-server bind Virtual-Template 1
user-vlan 2
user-vlan 26 qinq 101 103
user-vlan 26 27 qinq 104
bas
#
access-type layer2-subscriber default-domain authentication guanli
arp-proxy
authentication-method bind
ip-trigger
arp-trigger
#
return
Root cause
Cause analysis:
1. configuration problem.
2. BAS access control problem.
4. other device or version problem.
Recommendation and Summary
